The No. 4 Plug is located on the south parcel of the Teck-Tundra JV property. It is located approximately 3,500 feet (1,066.8 meters) southwest of No. 3 Mine Shaft to which it is connected by drifts on the 450 and 700-foot levels. The No. 4 Plug was mined and yielded 160,000 tons grading 0.152 oz Au/ton (145,136 s T grading 5.21 g Au/t) from working above 700-foot level. Production for the No 3 Mine and No. 4 Plug areas extended from July 1961 to 1967.

The No 4 Plug is a "pipe-like" intrusion and measures 350 to 400 feet (106.68 to 121.92 meters) in diameter and extends to a depth in excess of 3,000 feet (914.4 meters). The No. 4 Plug was mined from July 1961 to 1967and yielded 160,000 tons grading 0.152 oz Au/ton (145,136 s T grading 5.21 G Au/t) from working above 700-foot level.

The last Mineral Resource estimate completed for the No. 4 Plug was done by Teck in 1989 (Scammell, May 1989). Teck estimated 1,149,000 tons grading 0.179 oz Au/ton (cut) and 0.275 oz Au/ton (uncut) for a series of zones between the 700-3,000-foot levels. It incorporated all drilling. The only drilling since 1989 (73 DDH totalling 82,462 feet (25,134.42 m) during 1932 to 1989) has been done on the plug was by Kalahari in 2003.
