Stephen de Jong, BComm.

CEO, President, Director

Mr. de Jong has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Integra Gold since 2012. Under his leadership Integra’s market capitalization has increased from $10 million in 2012 to over $400 million today, despite the recent downturn faced by the mining sector. During this period Mr. de Jong and his team raised over $150 million in equity to propel his company and project forward, with each equity financing taking place at subsequently higher prices.

Integra Gold’s strong financial positon has enabled an aggressive exploration and growth strategy which underpins the Company’s proven ability to create value in all market conditions. Mr. de Jong has embarked on a number of innovative, unconventional and creative initiatives including the transformative and opportunistic acquisition of the Sigma-Lamaque Mill and Mine Complex, valued at over $100 million, the development of a mobile app allowing investors to conduct virtual site visits of Integra’s project, the $1 million Integra Gold Rush Challenge and the shark-tank style #DisruptMining event which Integra cohosted with Goldcorp at one of largest mineral exploration and mining conferences in the world.

Mr. de Jong holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University and is also a director of GFG Resources Inc.

Andree St-Germain, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. St-Germain, originally from Québec, is an experienced mining finance executive with an extensive background in banking, mining finance and operating mine-site financial management. Andree, an MBA (Honours) Graduate from the York University Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Ontario, began her career in investment banking for Dundee Capital Market Inc. As an investment banker, Andree worked exclusively with mining companies on M&A advisory and financing. In 2013, Ms. St-Germain joined Golden Queen Mining Co. Ltd. as CFO. During her three year tenure at Golden Queen, Andree played an instrumental role in securing project finance and overseeing Golden Queen as it transitioned from development and construction to commercial production. Ms. St-Germain is fluent in both French and English.

Langis St-Pierre, B.Sc. Mining Engineering,

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. St-Pierre studied Mining Engineering at Laval University before beginning a 27 year career at Cambior Inc., and subsequently IAMGOLD Corp. following its acquisition of Cambior in 2006. During his 27 years at Cambior/IAMGOLD, Mr. St-Pierre worked on base-metal and gold deposits and held a variety of positions before rising to Mine Manager and General Manager at multiple Québec mining operations, including the Langlois Mine, the Bouchard-Hébert Mine, the Sleeping Giant Mine, and the Doyon Mine. In 2010, Mr. St-Pierre was appointed President and General Manager of IAMGOLD S.A. Burkina Faso, a subsidiary of IAMGOLD. As President and General Manager of IAMGOLD S.A., Mr. St-Pierre oversaw 2,300 employees and mining operations that produced on average 350,000 ounces of gold annually.

Mr. H. Thiboutot, BSc., Eng.

Senior Vice President

Mr. Thiboutot has been a major contributor to the co-discovery of more than 20 million ounces of gold during his 34 years career working for major, mid-tier, and junior mining companies. He brings to Integra, as Senior Vice President, a wealth of experience in all aspects of exploration from generating, negotiating and managing projects, to corporate, community and governmental relations, and in liaising with project and mine development engineers.

Mr. Thiboutot comprehensive exploration and mining company experience includes:

  • Integra Gold Corp., Senior Vice President: Lead the team that discovered the multi-million ounces Triangle and No. 4 Plug gold deposits in the heart of the Val-d’Or district.
  • Alamos Gold Corp., Vice President of Exploration: While working in Mexico (Mulatos Mine) and Turkey (Agi Dagi Mine), was instrumental in doubling the global gold resources and reserves to more than 5 million ounces gold in less than three years.
  • Goldcorp. Inc., Project Manager - Eléonore: Responsible for overall project management and geological portion of the feasibility study of Goldcorp’s Éléonore Project in Northern Québec, presently in operation and forecast to produce 600,000 gold ounces per year over a minimum of 15 years.
  • Placer Dome Inc., various senior positions including Project Geologist, Project Manager, Country Manager and Exploration Manager: worked on multiple advanced stage projects in diverse countries such as Canada, USA, Tanzania, Niger, Venezuela, and Mexico, amongst others during his 24 years with the company.

Mr. Thiboutot is a geological engineer graduating from Laval University, Québec City, QC, and is a member in good standing with the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.

François Chabot, MSc., Eng.

Manager of Operations/Engineering

Mr. Chabot graduated from Laval University in Québec City in 1986 with a BSc. Geological Engineering, completed a MSc. Geology in 1988, and is a member in good standing of the “Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.” Mr. Chabot has significant development and production experience with vein type deposits similar to that found at Integra’s Lamaque Gold Project. Mr. Chabot is fluent in French and English and brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of the development of advanced stage projects including permitting, environmental management, project evaluation, operations start-up, reserve evaluation, mine planning, health and safety, and budget control.

Some of Mr. Chabot’s career highlights include:

  • Richmont Mines Inc. - Most recently Director for the Beaufor Mine and Monique Project, located in Val-d’Or, Québec.
  • Golder Associates Ltd. - Associate and regional manager in Val-d’Or, Québec.
  • Aurizon Mines Ltd. - Chief geologist and technical superintendent at the Beaufor mine.
  • Placer Dome Inc. - Production geologist for the Sigma Mine.

Jacques Simoneau, P.Geo

Exploration Manager

Mr. Simoneau is a Senior level exploration geologist with extensive experience working with major gold companies in identifying and evaluating precious metals opportunities and in the design, implementation and management of exploration projects and feasibility studies in various geological environment in Canada and internationally.

  • As Exploration Manager for Goldcorp, He led the exploration team at the Eleonore Project through a positive feasibility study and construction decision. Under his leadership Eleonore’s resources grew to over 7Moz of Au and manage the transition from exploration to development to operation.
  • Barrick Gold, Principal Geologist, New Exploration Opportunities: Responsible for the identification and evaluation of exploration projects for potential acquisitions.
  • Placer Dome, Various senior positions including Project Manager on early to advance stage exploration projects in North America and West and Southern Africa.

Mr. Simoneau is a P.Geo graduating from the Université de Montréal and a member in good standing of the Ordre des Géologues du Québec.

George Salamis, Bsc. Geology


Mr. Salamis has over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration, mine development and operations and is currently President and CEO of Edgewater Exploration Ltd., a TSX Venture-listed (TSXV: EDW) mineral exploration company. Mr. Salamis has previously held senior management positions with a number of mining companies including Placer Dome Inc. and Cameco Corporation. He has been involved in several M&A transactions valued over $1.2 billion, either through the sale of assets, or of junior mining companies that he played a key role in building. Specifically relevant to the Québec mining scene, Mr. Salamis holds a degree in Geology from the University of Montreal and has spent over 5 years working in the Val-d’Or area in mining and exploration, primarily with Placer Dome Inc.

Robert Bryce, P.Eng.


Robert Bryce, P.Eng is a mining engineer with over 43 years of experience in the mining industry. He has been involved in all aspects of operations and management at various mines from Vice President of Mining Operations at Aur Resources Inc. to his current position as Chairman and President of XEMAC Resources Inc. He is a member of the “Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec” and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM). Mr. Bryce resides in Val-d’Or, Québec, and continues to work with a variety of mining companies in the area as advisor, consultant and as director.

Petra Decher, CPA, CA

Lead Director

Ms. Decher is an experienced finance executive with over twelve years in the mining industry. She has a deep understanding of public reporting, corporate governance, and investor relations. Ms. Decher most recently held the position of Vice President, Finance and Assistant Secretary for Franco-Nevada Corporation. Prior to Franco-Nevada, Ms. Decher was President and Chief Financial Officer for Geoinformatics Exploration Inc., an exploration company focused on projects in British Columbia, Nevada, Mexico and Australia. Petra is a Chartered Accountant and Québec native. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at Concordia University, her Diploma in Accounting at McGill University and articled at Richter Usher Vineberg (now Richter) in Montréal, Québec.

John de Jong


Mr. de Jong has held senior management positions, including CEO and CFO, and been involved with the restructuring and recapitalization of numerous mineral exploration companies, including Integra Gold Corp. Mr. de Jong oversaw the mining, milling, and exploration programs in the Slocan region of British Columbia in 2009 through 2011 and exploration and mining programs in Yukon during 2009 and 2010. He also worked as a consultant for TSXV exploration companies providing business and corporate development strategies.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Rogue Resources Inc., and volunteers on a number of non-profit boards and committees.

Charles Oliver, Bsc. Geology, CFA


Mr. Oliver most recently held the position of Lead Portfolio Manager for the Sprott Gold and Precious Minerals Fund. Prior to his role at Sprott Asset Management, Mr. Oliver was a Senior Vice President and Lead Portfolio Manager at AGF Funds. During his 11 year tenure at AGF Funds, Mr. Oliver managed a variety of funds, including the Precious Metals Fund, Canadian Resources Fund, Global Resources Fund, Growth Equity Fund and Markland Oilsands Sector Fund. Mr. Oliver earned his BSc in Geology (Honours) from the University of Western Ontario and also holds an Acc.Dir designation. He began his career as a field geologist in Québec before moving to Toronto to work as a trader and retail broker.

Raynald Vézina, P. Eng,


Mr Vézina has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry. A renowned mining engineer, Mr. Vézina has extensive experience in mine construction and operations, both internationally and in Québec. Much of his career has been focused on project development in Québec, including serving as General Manager of the Kiena Gold Mine where he was involved in the construction of the underground mine and mill complex and supervised gold production for Falconbridge Ltd., and then Placer Dome. He also served as Senior Vice President of Mining Operations for Cambior Inc. from 1988 to 2004 where he oversaw the construction and operation of seven underground mines and one open-pit mine, seven of which were in Québec. Mr. Vézina is a member of the Québec Order of Engineers, a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Mining, and holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering degree from Laval University (1970) in Québec City.
